The Beastie Boys are Coming Back
"Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" is the latest album from the Beastie Boys which was released April 27th. This album contains 18 new tracks all containing the genre of rap/hip-hop. The Beastie Boy's last album was released in 2005 as a greatest hits number, and numerous albums before this one have declared the Beastie Boys greatly favored as one of the best in rap. While gaining popularity in the late 80's and 90's the Beastie Boys new album "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" will definitely surprise fans who have followed the group since their productive start and make a new name for people who are just getting interested in them. The new NBC show "The Voice" was an instant hit on television when it aired on Apr. 26. It brought a new element to talent competition shows: blindness for the judges. While the singer is performing, the four judges are turned around not facing the performer so that the only thing that they are judging is the singer’s voice. This show is fun to watch and brings a new element to singing competitions that has never been done before.
"What's great about this show is that we take it back to real music," judge Christina Aguilera said in a telephone press conference. "It's definitely about going back to old music, where you wanted to buy it or listen to it on the radio purely from what sounded good to your ears or what moved you." READ
On stranger tides
Jack Sparrow is back at it again with all new adventure, Jackisms and new romances. The new installment of the pirates of the caribbean series comes out May 20. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides takes place on the high seas as Captain Jack Sparrow and Black Beard are racing to find the fountain of youth and gain eternal life. Overall the movie had a good flow and the plot line had new aspects that were exciting to watch but felt repeditive.
Old friends arrive back on the high seas such as Geoff Rush who plays the role of Captain Barbossa and Jack Sparrow’s eccentric side Mr. Gibbs played by Kevin McNally. Unfortunately, Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom who are cast as Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner decided not to continue the series due to conflicting projects. READ
