It is a long, grueling battle for advertising spots in the Super Bowl. Millions of dollars are dished out for a 30 second bit that the creators hope will grab the attention of the audiences, especially those who watch the Super Bowl specifically for the commercials. Three Stillwater grads now have their chance at making their own production to put on display during the Super Bowl. READ The Brick is a new music venue opening in Minneapolis this spring, hoping to offer yet another mid-sized choice for musical acts. The venue is owned by AEG Live, an LA-based entertainment and promotion company. It will be located on 5th Street, across from Epic Nightclub, in the space that was formerly occupied by the Christian oriented venue Club 3 Degrees. The three-tiered space will feature a full bar on every level with a full-time bar on the lowest level. The Brick will be open to all ages and plans to open its doors in late March.
